The turf at school is currently not used by the school's hockey teams as it is not the correct size and is a sand turf, this means that the teams have to train in various different places and it also is dangerous as when you fall you can scrape your body badly. We need to get the turf changed to a real, full sized, watered turf.

The school administration remains silent on our request for a proper hockey surface. Send an email to the school board today demanding they address the safety risks of the current sand turf.

I would love to see a water turf at SKC so that premier teams can get more support from other school students.

Playing on sand is awful and the bruises are not worth it. We deserve a proper surface like every other school has.
