i got pulled like 12 times in hallway to tell me i was out of dress code when i was wearing a top that showed barely an inch of my stomach making me late to class i agree we should have a bit of boundaries but dress coding someone for a shirt that’s slightly cropped is insane i ended up being late for 3 classes and if that happens when they are doing tardys i’ll have to go and get one every time and that makes me ineligible to exempt exams and other things when it’s slightly cropped i think that cropped shirts are fine and we should be allowed to wear shorter shorts because we live in texas and it’s hot af also no bonnets and durags is stupid it’s clear a really white person who has no sense of culture made this the only “rules” we should have is sagging cs it’s stupid and ur ass cheecks shouldn’t be hanging out.we should also change the strap rule cs it’s hot asf.another thing is this dress code is extremely sexist it so targeted towards the girls instead of having girls cover up we should be teaching boys to not be peverts

It can be really uncomfortable at school when you can't wear what you want because it feels like you're not able to express who you are. Clothes are a big part of personal identity, and when you're forced to stick to a dress code, it can make you feel like you're being put into a box. It can also be distracting to constantly worry about whether what you’re wearing is acceptable, instead of focusing on your studies. Plus, it can feel unfair if the rules seem to target certain groups of students more than others. Overall, not being able to wear what you want can make school feel like a place where you can't truly be yourself.
