I know that I'm possibly allergic to dogs, but it's not like the dog is going to slobber its saliva all over me. I'm signing this on behalf of a close friend, so please share this webpage in any form that you have the ability to share via social networking and such.
This is discrimination and against the law, medically impaired individuals require service dogs, a mental condition is also a medical condition. This child needs her service animal and this is just pure discrimination.

This girl needs her service dog for her mental health and stability. Not letting her be with her dog is the same as not letting someone with depression take their medication. She needs her dog.

If most of the people in her classrooms aren't allergic or afraid of this animal there should be no problem. If people are distracted, that is no one's fault but their own. Schools claim to help people with disabilities but this shows the complete opposite. I hope they let the dog into the school.

I have a letter that states the disability I have, and also the paperwork that says Morgaine is a service dog not an emotional support animal.

Do you have a letter from a physician (psychiatrist, neurologist, neuropsychologist as necessary, or your primary physician in consultation with a specialist) specializing in the type of disability you have, that states that you have a disability, and that a service dog can be effective in treating that?
Emotional support animals, comfort animals, and therapy dogs are not service animals under Title II and Title III of the ADA.
I hope you can get this sorted out soon and feel good in school and out!
