One of my POLI professors last year took all of us students cell phone numbers in seminar and then took photos on his I pad of each of us. Then he took a group photo of us all and invited us all to his place in Ukraine.

There is no place for sexual predators on our campus. Schimmelpenninck needs to recognize it is his ethical responsibility to resign (with no buyout package!).

This is unacceptable ~ I have two daughters & so many friends attending Brock. This man is a monster & should not be allowed near young people, here or anywhere else. He should be on an offenders list.

As someone who has been a victim of sexual misconduct by a professional in my past hearing this news is absolutely petrifying. I can only imagine how the victim must feel. As a victim myself this makes me feel unprotected by my own university. This was handled terribly. Why are you giving this man an opportunity to do thing like this again? The statistics for predators who perform acts of sexual misconduct to have reoccurrences is ALARMINGLY high. Is the risk worth endangering your students? I am very disappointed and ashamed. We are supposed to be progressing when it comes to issues like these... Brock University is doing the exact opposite. Not on my campus.

Brock has paid Dr. Schimmelpenninck over $400,000 over the past four years. He doesn't deserve any of it and shouldn't get a penny more. #timesup

A criminal of sexual assault, especially a professor, should not be allowed to step foot anywhere near students, women and girls who he may have to chance to do so again.
