It’s not fair for someone who has committed these actions and crimes to be around young students. They are supposed to be role models, how are you going to have a psychopath as a role model?? It sickens me that he is still teaching

Tenure should not mean protection in instances like this. We cannot and will not be complicit. This is unacceptable and he must go.

He should not be allowed to work in a job where he is perceived to have power over others. He has misused this power before, future students need to be protected.

As a worker at Brock and a potential future grad student, I demand that Schimmelpenninck be removed immediately and that the demands be met.

THE BEST WAY TO PREVENT MORE SEXUAL ASSAULTS BY A KNOWN VIOLATOR IS FOR HIM TO BE AWAY FROM THE PAYING STUDENT POPULATION. If he's actually "sorry" for his actions, and truly cared about student safety, he would resign to ensure that safety. Not to mention the safety of survivors of sexual assault. Bluntly, they matter more than a predator. Sorry, not sorry. He needs to face the consequences to actions like an adult.

This is absolutely disgusting and a disappointing. Brock university should have their students best interests in mind. Allowing this monster on campus around other people is very terrifying to many people. Its also an insult to survivors of sexual assaults to know that a sex offender is allowed to continue without any consequences.
