Immigrant workers from Non-EU countries contribute towards Irish Economic Growth in virtually all economic sectors ranging from hospitality to healthcare. These migrant workers are potential European Citizens/ Permanent Residents. They may not have an integrated European Identity which the European Union is striving to achieve because; their visa-free travel is restricted within the Republic of Ireland. Ireland is the only country in the Euro currency zone which is not a Schengen Visa country. Because of restricted travel rights, migrant workers in Ireland are denied the opportunity to integrate at a European Level. As a citizen/resident of the European Union, I want Ireland to join the Schengen Visa Zone.

Thanks for visiting this website! PLEASE READ DISCLAIMER BEFORE SIGNING THE PETITION! I am a Non-EU citizen but a resident of Ireland. I strongly feel that Ireland should join the Schengen Visa Zone and give the Rights which we are entitled to (Free Movement in Europe, Transferable Long term Residency, and other entitlements generally granted by the EU), which are denied to Immigrant Migrant Workers living in Ireland. A detailed description of rights denied and reasons why Ireland should join the Schengen Visa Zone can be found by visiting PLEASE NOTE: When signing the petition please choose for "Country of Residence" your CURRENT EUROPEAN COUNTRY of Residence. DISCLAIMER: This appeal is initiated by me as a concerned person on a voluntary basis. This is NOT a fundraising appeal. I am NOT involved in any fundraising appeal by A screen may appear after signing the petiton to support which is NOT related to me or the "Schengen for Ireland Appeal". You DO NOT have to pay to make your signature valid. I can be contacted at Muthu
