The sheer weight of this support proves that Lebanon is finally fed up with the silence surrounding this abuse. The cowards who think they can hide behind archaic traditions are clearly running out of places to run.

Stop the abuse. No excuse justifies hitting a woman ever.
I pledge. We have to protect our sisters and mothers.
Respect to all the women in my life. Men need to be better and stop acting like this is okay.
Enough is enough. Its 2011 and this still happens all the time. Shame on anyone who turns a blind eye to this.
FINALLY some people speaking up. Violence is never the answer no matter what the situation is.

Too many stories in the news lately. It breaks my heart how common this has become. Thanks for doing this.
