Dear Senator Snowe and Senator Collins:
The current health care reform proposals under consideration in the United States Senate and House of Representatives are bills Mainers simply cannot afford. We, the undersigned citizens of Maine, urge you to oppose these current proposals and encourage your fellow legislators to rethink these reforms.
We stand in opposition to these proposals because:
- The proposed changes are too big
100 new government departments!
- The proposals are too expensive
- The proposals pose too great a risk to seniors
For these reasons, and more, we urge you, Senator Snowe and Senator Collins, to just say NO to this government takeover of our health care.

NO! Just say no to this disaster. Maine families are struggling enough already without more taxes.
Please listen to your constituents for once. We dont want a government takeover of our healthcare. Do your job!
