We, the undersigned object to the establishment of Hooters bar and restaurant in Bristol. We believe that 'Hooters' expects its female employees to be displayed as sexual objects for men's enjoyment.
This is not consistent with the image of a modern, diverse and inclusive city.
We believe that such an establishment may increase incidences of sexual harassment for the women of our city and put the children and young people who use the facilities close by at risk.
Please see the blog section for articles about Hooters.
