I'm strongly against this idea. Plenty of apartments have been added at the City Center corridor and the city does not need overpopulation. It needs natural green space. Don't make Lenexa into a mini Dallas.

Changing the zoning from Medium-Residential/ Office to High Residential, including high-rise apartments, does not seem to be a good fit for this location. Please send the developers back to the drawing board to come back with something less dense for this area that fits in better with the appropriate zoning.

We now have a nice low crime area, I would like to see it stay that way. I say No to rezoning the land directly west of the current WaterCrest Landing subdivision.

What a shame to desecrate this quiet and peaceful area with 698 apartment units. There are better locations in Lenexa that are conducive to construction of that magnitude without destroying an upscale neighborhood.

This will increase the crime rate in our peaceful community. We paid a premium to live here to get away from lower-income housing. The roads weren't built to handle all of that traffic.
