I have been reviewing the feedback from many of you regarding the recent speed limit reduction on the South Eastern freeway. It is clear that the consensus remains firm that this measure fails to address the underlying safety concerns at the toll gate. I am currently preparing a formal letter to present these arguments to the relevant transportation authorities.

if the trucks cant stop they need to be banned from that lane. stop punishing normal drivers for things we didn't do.
GOVERNMENT IS CLUELESS AGAIN. 90 on a freeway is a joke.
spent an hour stuck in traffic yesterday and it was painful. this limit is just making the congestion worse.
its just a revenue grab pure and simple. the trucks are the problem not my daily commute.
ridiculous. fix the truck brakes or put in an arrester bed. slowing us down does nothing but waste my time.
and the coroner thinks it should be 80.
Dropping the speed limit will not stop a runaway truck

everyone drives 100 anyway so now we are all just breaking the law for no reason.
