This document is a petition advocating a specific cause; it is not a forum for debate or a venue for the discussion of topics unrelated to the proposed casino at the Nittany Mall. As such, the community that is advocating for the denial of the Nittany Mall Casino's license is not obligated to allow spurious comments or comments contrary to the purpose of this petition to remain posted on this site. (Similarly, Bally's Corporation is not obligated to keep comments opposing the development of their proposed casino posted on their own corporate websites.) If you would like to debate the proposed Nittany Mall Casino or to discuss other topics, other more appropriate venues are available for you to do so.

Public opposition to a casino at the Nittany Mall is strong. Please be responsive to the desires of the community and DO NOT approve a license. State College has a history of being a family friendly place. We want to keep it that way. NO CASINO!

I definitely oppose the casino coming to State College. I think it is a very bad idea. To me it will be a big mistake bringing one more availability to sin in State College. You know SC can stand for State College or Sin City.

Better ideas for this Nittany mall and not for opening a Casino.

We are currently innodated with on-line gambling so why do we need a brick and mortar location? Another excuse to fleeze those that can illaford to loose their earnings. Especially in a college town with gullible students. I say no to the casino!

A casino attracts the vulnerable, promotes gambling addiction, and is inappropriate for a community like ours.

We don’t need anymore trouble in this town! It will bring even more elite pedophiles, we already have plenty of those!

This will create additional addictive behaviors, bring unwanted outside influence and has the potential for increased crime in the area. This becomes Stage 1 of development in what should be "Not in my Town!" response!

This is a college town with many young people not mature enough to make good decisions about alcohol and sex and we want to add another vice?! Where do we draw the line on making a profit for the business and the county and consider ETHICS and MORALITY ?! They already have staggering student loan debt leaving our county! We don’t need them depressed or suicidal due to incomprehensible debt, or addicted to gambling too!
I STRONGLY OPPOSE a casino in Centre County PA.
This Casino needs to stop. Keep State college safe.
