Hello, We are the youth cabinet of Milton keynes and we are the voices for all young people across Milton Keynes. We basically come up with ideas and our youth workers then forward them to the poeple in charge of those decisions.

We think you should sign because this petition because it affects the Youth of Milton Keynes very greatly!
An All-In-One card is a form of a discount card for under 18's to use when they use the bus and is also accepted at many places as student discount card. The new All-In-One card price is being raised from 50p to £1.50. As public transportation is used frequently by the youth of Milton Keynes we (The Youth Cabinet) do not think children should have to spend an excessive amount of money on a daily basis. If this new rule is passed, the average child taking a bus in Milton keynes will be spending £15 on public transportation (This is if they took the bus twice in one day, five school days a week and did not buy a ten trip ticket). Please support this cause and sign this petition.
Thank you.

Seeing this kind of movement confirms that so many of you see the toll this price hike takes on our young people. I am genuinely moved by how quickly our community gathered to protect the independence of our youth.

Where are kids supposed to get the money for bus fares? All those jobs they can't get because they're too young?

It's too dear for kids even so for single parents to be paying out that much for a bus!!

This amount of money is ridiculous, young people can't afford these prices and this should be changed back. If public transport around milton keynes was an improved service then this price would be adequate but the fact that young people have to get two separate busses in order to travel to mk college for example is totally unfair and wrong.

This is a shocking price hike for young people in Milton Keynes to bear, particularly as we have multiple bus service providers around town charging different fares. There is no justification for raising this fare at a time when we're trying to encourage more people to use public transport.

i guess this really says more about the tory government: can spend 50 bn a year while putting their hand in to all of our money, also giving people ridiculous amounts of money on jsa while young people have to suffer and now they cant even properly fund councils
