We really need the fields fixed at Elm Ave park. We have had to cancel many events due to the fields being flooded. This is disappointing to both the kids and parents. In addition, the fields poor drainage is a safety issue. Many kids and parents have fallen due to the poor drainage. We want to be able to show case our beautiful park and the new turf field will be a way to do this.

As a former Bethlehem athlete a turf field is absolutely necessary and long overdue. I’ve watched friends get injured due to the poor quality of current fields and in a town where athletics are highly valued and strong we need to do better to give athletes the tools to be the best they can be! I hope this will eventually lead to a full size turf field due to the demand from the multitude of programs and teams.

This is a complete waste of tax payer money the people in this town want everything. Have the booster clubs pay for it and give back to the town for once.

This is absolutely needed - there are years when the fields are completely unplayable for months - it will pay dividends for thousands of Bethlehem children over the years ahead. Thank you.

I believe this would be a terrific addition for the town and help our kids play and improve all year round.

I would be grateful to see this proposed plan come to fruition as the parent of four young children and the opportunities this field would provide!

Bethlehem fields are an embarrassment. We cannot even have a tournament. We need to be better than this

My family fully supports the addition of a synthetic turf field with lighting. It is so important to keep children and adults active, and participation in group sports has innumerable benefits. This field could be used for lacrosse, as well as other sports. Please support Bethlehem’s lacrosse players, who do not currently have a safe and reliable field of their own.

Make this happen! While we're at it, why not make it a full size field that could return revenue to the town in the way of rental fees?
