Say Yes to a Synthetic Turf Field at the Town's Elm Ave Park

A synthetic field is desperately needed for youth sports. We have a childhood obesity epidemic in the US. Let's kid our kids active!

Build it and they will come.

I would really enjoy playing lacrosse on a turf field. A turf field would making playing conditions much safer especially in wet weather. I hope the Town of Bethlehem supports this multi-use field that will benefit all sport programs.

This is a no brainer! Much needed improvement (this climate) that will be utilized by many of the town's residents for many years to come. These changes cost money but increase value - of community, of our homes. I also suggest full size field if feasible. But at a minimum build the small one.

I am a college athlete now and looking back there are many days my teammates and I wished for a turf field, for a place that was always playable and available. Definitely something that needs to be considered.

I support a turf field at the town park. I would suggest you seriously consider a full size field with lighting for full optimization by all . My children are college students now and my days of playing a field sport are long past, I support this for the future generations.

This is a great idea. I know that when I play at the town park there is constantly standing water and poor conditions and a synthetic field is the perfect solutions and with lighting the field can be used at anytime!

The field should be a full size playing surface! But if we can't have that, we need something. For those of you who think this is a waste of money, look at the positive (and healthy) outcomes from sports. If you want kids/skateboards/teenagers off your front lawn, but don't want to invest in your community, then YOU are the problem. Who do you think build the fields YOU played on when you were young?
