Marpole and Vancouver need all types of housing. The most vulnerable in our city need safe secure housing. Housing is an essential need we all have.

I sure hope these aren't shipping containers. There are much better materials (more energy efficient) for this climate.

A fantastic initiative! Many in hard times and we need these spaces for those to get back on their feet.

All civil and livable communities have mixed demographics and welcoming neighbours who understand that real diversity is at the heart of truly great and good cities. The homeless need modular housing, and those of us who are well-housed need to understand how we can gain from being supportive neighbours. Solid social policy and attention to people's needs benefits all.

As a former Resident of Hudson St., I know homeless people in this neighbourhood need housing here, not in other parts of the city! They are our neighbours. Please find a permanent housing site here too!

I support this type of housing for this type of residents in Marpole. I DO NOT support this project in its current location. It’s just too close to a school, and it is wasteful and short sighted to locate it on land where it will be necessary to demovict the tenants in five years, as well as waste the money to relocate the units.
RIGHT IDEA, WRONG LOCATION.

Modular housing is vitally needed transition housing now. We need a national housing programme that guarantees stable, permanent, affordable housing for everybody

We need this this housing in Marpole and all parts of the city. I want the city to proceed and to house as many homeless people as possible, as fast as possible. To delay or change course will unnecessarily put the health and life of homeless people at risk.

I'm a long time resident of this neighbourhood. The people opposing this do not speak for many of us. Kudos to the students who are leading this movement to support and include all members of our community with needed housing.
Let's get this done - yesterday
