How about the board members take a cut in their paychecks to fund fees for once. I seriously doubt they need almost $3mil per year for athletics.

One bad decision after another with this dean. I cannot comprehend why I have to struggle for my tuition and also pay for someone elses. Why are funding a sub-par athlete for a sub-par sports team? Also, bring back the ice-cream machine #bringbackouricecream2015

Frankly, I do not see the need to increase the athletic fee. I have no gain from paying this. I do not attend sporting events, nor care about UNG sports at all. While $34 is not outlandish, it is the principal. The university system already capitalizes on the salaries and college funds of poor students at ridiculous rates, why should I encourage them to take more money out of my pocket and the pockets of those less fortunate than me.

Why should we pay for the scholarships for the athletes? Athletes make up a very small percentage of the school system. This doesn't benefit the majority of the students.

Most of the increases are for valid reasons and I respect and accept them, but forcing me to pay for scholarships for other students makes no sense.
