This ridiculous. How do these scholarships help the student body overall? Our school is already overcrowded. We aren't even a big sports school.

I pay rec center fees for athletes, they pay for my tuition. Fair?

Athletics? Why should I ( a commuter ) pay for this nonsense)

I thought our president was Bonita Jacobs, not Barak Obama (I mean that in the most respectful way)

I shouldn't have to take out more loans so an athlete can go for free on my dollar

I don't want to pay for someone else's college when I am already paying for my own.

I find it hard to support a rise in athletic fees to support athletes when I pay for all of my education with a full time job. #needmoreparking

I have to worry about my own tuition and fees. Why should I pay for a sub par athlete to go to college free where they rarely pursue a valuable major?

It's simply not fair for me to pay for some else's education when I can't even afford my own.

I don't even attend any school athletic events and commute every day. I'm not paying for someone else's scholarships when I don't even have any.

I don't even go to any of the school athletic events. it is completely unfair for me to pay someone else's tuition for a sport when you don't offer volleyball as a sport for me to try out for a scholarship.

ridiculous. I'm not paying for a service I don't even use. I don't like watching sports.

I already can barely afford my own tuition and fees. I can't and won't fund someone else's education.
