We paid for the lights and it was agreed by the council that they would stay up all year. They need to stick to the agreement or lose all credibility.

The people of Hoylake have raised money all year, have actually given a whole lot of community spirit, time and effort. Everyone loves the lights. Please explain the reason behind the enforced switch off.

The entire family loves these lights. We feel really happy every time we see them and also feel that they are good for Hoylake businesses as visitors think about Hoylake with a more positive image. Please let us keep these beautiful lights.

These lights are owned by Hoylake residents and NOT the council. How arrogant to think they can dictate how they manage their own property which is not causing any problems but cheering the dull winter months.

We live in liecester but have family in hoylake we visited a few time during the Christmas period these lights look lovely plse leave them up
