It’s such a joy to go through Hoylake seeing this flourish of pink happiness especially at this dark and miserable time of year ! Please keep us smiling with your flash of beautiful colour !

The lights have been praised by everyone I speak to. They look great!
Raising the money and having them installed was a community success story. Very typical of the council to do the opposite to what the residents want.
For those of you old enough to remember Wolfy Smith.....Power to the People!

leave them alone . The residents raised the money volunteers put them up they look beautiful. Have you really got nothing better to do we pay you .

Wirral council ought to listen to the residents that live here. They seem to have no issue with the Goliath that is the “golf resort” so why pick a fight over some energy efficient tree lights. Facepalm!

This is ridiculous. The lights have made Hoylake look pretty and classy they have given the area a real identity and lift. Please leave them as they are!

The council our absolute joke and never help the public and when we do something nice to our village they want to take it down or say it’s not or problem joke

Please can common sense and fairness prevail. The lights are fabulous and funded by Hoylake, please work with the community not against them it would make a welcome change.
