Lights make the area quite unique and should be left until the end of February

The trees the lights are on do not need maintenance at this time - any pruning should be done in autumn - these lights bring in iCal business

I work in Hoylake and think the lights look beautiful and brighten the winter evenings

Leave the Hoylake lights alone. A totally pointless and destructive exercise.

Remain they have brought light to an area that was starting to decline.

Other cities and towns are happy to have their trees lit all year round I’m not sure why it should be an issue for Hoylake

At a time of austerity for a community to get together and welcome people to 'their place' by being creative and putting up lights so be commended and supported. These have made a real difference to Hoylake and all passing through. Surely there is another solution to this other than taking them down. Surely we need to support local communities who are making a positive difference?

Make hoylake look so much better. Makes sense to use an asset and is well worth a small electricity cost.

The lights are fantastic and welcoming. The council appear to want to remove any attempt to make our area more inviting.... maybe because it's not Birkenhead... It would probably be ok then...!
