The lights make what can be a drab grey drive very inviting. They make Hoylake look welcoming. Keep the lights!

They make hoylake look nice and fresh for once. Haven't the council sorry skint council got better things to sort out. They are being like little children something very good that they didn't do. So take it down. Spend time fixing normal street lights that have been reported several times over 6 + months......

These lights add colour and interest from visitors...they are more likely to stop and visit which adds interest from a tourist point of view which can only benefit local businesses

The hard work and immense community spirit that went into the installation of these lights means that we the community do not want the council to order their removal. Stop being bloody jobsworths!!!!

I had a run last night, partly just to see the lights. They are fantastic and help to improve the area. It should be applauded.

I don’t even live in Hoylake but why would you not want to keep the lights??? It’s so nice to drive through. Keep them!!!!

The lights look wonderful. How come all of a sudden there is money in the kitty for pruning trees. Yet all other services are cut back. Is there another agenda?

Anything that brings people in and brightens up that ghost town should be applauded and supported. It's not council money, it was funded by local donations. Have a little bit of business savvy in that ivory tower that is the town hall for once.

Anything which brings trade and happiness to an area must be a good thing. What will be gained by the council in removing them. The council should concentrate on more important things like the state of r roads, homelessness and leave our lights alone

The time and effort it has taken for them to be assembled.... for them to have to come down - then put up again next Christmas . Absolutely ridiculous !!! They’re being awkward and very very pathetic!!!! We take great pride in our little town - please, please leave them be!!
