These lights are so lovely. I look forward to seeing them when visiting family in Hoylake. Really cheers me up, especially on cold wet blustery evenings.

Leave Hoylake lights alone. The people paid for them and put them up. Please council members, they bring joy to the town and also bring folks from around the area into Hoylake just to see them.

Theses lights have been put up by hard working volunteers! The lights will lift any mood even in the grimmest weathers. Please keep Hoylake lights!!!

How stupid having lived in hoylake for 20 odd years I've never seen the council doing any work on the trees but the they as ever if something is working they won't too put a stop to it

The lights make Hoylake look more welcoming when they are switched on and , as stated, belong to the people of Hoylake. The council have wasted vast amounts of money on other projects and it's a shame that that they are not happy with an obvious eco-friendly attraction to the area.

Please leave the lights on. They look so lovely and atmospheric and really cheer people up. The local people really worked so hard to raise the money and put them up.

There is an extremely limited possibly that the retention of the lights on the trees will give rise to issues relating to ongoing maintainence. The positive benefit of the retention of the lights greatly outweighs any potential very minor costs in relation to maintainence.
