Say No To Wirral Council Forcing Removal Of Hoylake Lights

Don't spoil something that makes people smile

This is a community effort sponsored by the community. Why would the council want to take away such a positive feature from a wonderful cohesive village! It should be proud of Hoylake

They are pretty, let them stay up as long as the people of Hoylake want!

I have never seen the council maintaining the trees in Hoylake so why now. Hoylake looks amazing, people are talking about Hoylake from all different districts and visitors from Far and wide think it looks awesome. It is also helping bring customers to small Businesses. So stop being ridiculous and spread some joy

Scrooge would be proud! This Council seem to revel in destroying anything that brings joy.

We have seen an increase in trade on last year and this cannot be a coincidence. Clients who visit from outside the area comment on how beautiful Hoylake looks. Time for the Council to embrace the idea and roll out across the Wirral!! You cannot guess the effect of invisible earnings!!

Council can afford to lend huge sums to others but can't afford celebration lights. Residents paid for these lights. can't afford to do.

Keep your promise and leave the lights they bring cheer to the residents and visitors.

The Hoylake lights have brought a little bit of cheer to the dark and damp nights of winter. It would be a shame to take them away on a council whim when they could be used on special occasions throughout the year.

Please please leave the lights up,for high days & holy days to light up throughout the year, it would be wonderful.

I thought they were funded by people paying in memory of cancer victims. I always comment on how nice they look and should stay up always .

The lights look lovely and brighten the darkness for a lot of people. Please keep them on

Hoylake is at last looking beautiful and welcoming to all visitors, local businesses and residents have worked hard to make it a lovely place.

Hoylake looks so much better with lights up if you go to other seaside towns majority of them have lights up the should definitely stay

Wirral Council need to listen to the people they serve! Car Park Charges now this! It's got to stop!

Hoylake village looks beautiful, had brought the community together, and slot of hard work from volunteers, driving through the village in the dark put a smile on your face
