This act of genuine community has resulted in local economic growth, a sense of belonging, community well being and to be quite honest it looks lovely. This is an initiative that should be used as an example and template for other parts of The Wirral (and beyond) let alone dismantled by a council and councillors who seem desperately out of touch with the people who elected them.

It really does brighten up the town seeing the lights on, I think it makes Hoylake look beautiful.
