These lights make a HUGE difference to the area and i would go as far as to say they should be on permanently throughout the year - not just on special occasions! Please do not take them down!

These trees bring so much happiness to people this time of year. They brighten up the darkest days. Why not leave them up a bit longer! When has the council EVER maintained the trees I can’t get two street liights fixed down my road! Mum and dads road have 3 street lights out for over 6 months! Do your jobs first then worry about the tree light in Hoylake that cheer everyone up.

They have up lifted us all, increased civil pride and also attracted visitors from Liverpool and other parts of Wirral.
The same energy efficient lights would look good in Birkenhead. A pink glowing Wirral!

These lights are gorgeous, uplifting and a real community effort. Jobsworths go home or do something useful and get our Wirral money back in OUR coffers from other councils !!

There are loads of trees outside my house with these lights and it brightens up the whole street, I’m the eldest child and my younger siblings absolutely adore the fairy lights as well, we would be very upset if they were taken down

What's wrong with something pretty? They're already paid for, so leave them where they are giving the option to use them long term. Why on earth not?

If the lights bring joy to so many then why take them away. Use them to fund raise and do a switch on for breast cancer, prostate cancer, local hospice, etc. throughout the year.

Is because Hoylake does not vote labour so the Labour Council is against this
