This would be a detriment to the local community. The location I’m not appropriate for this, especially with so many residential properties so close.

Please keep st Martin’s walk as it is! I can’t imagine Dorking without Beattitudes and Burgundy and Black is the only buggy friendly cafe I can think of. It will change things so much for families

I do not see this a the correct location given that it is pushing existing local businesses out of the current location and other more suitable locations exist in Dorking.

I don’t mind a Wetherspoons in Town... but NOT in St Martin’s Walk or in any other part that would affect important local business.

Wrong place to have a pub, It will create to much noise and mess around what is a nice "shopping precinct" which houses local shops, i'm not opposed to having a wetherspoons in dorking just the location.

Having just discovered the wonderful high street dorking has to offer and becoming a regular customer of these businesses I feel this is not the right place for a Wetherspoons.
Stop this development and save this precious local businesses don't turn Dorking into every other town.

No way dont want it in Dorking. St martins walk is so lovely dont ruin it by building the pub. Just think about the small businesses that are going to be ruined. Please dont do it

Issues with the location, small businesses being pushed out unnecessarily, noise pollution, anti-social behaviour literally on my doorstep and glass and problems in the new childrens park down below.

I think this is a hideous idea in so many ways. Five other valuable businesses would have to go and it is an obvious attempt to cash in on the football clientele who will be attending nearby. We already have many attractive old inns in Dorking which are struggling: this would just finish them off as well as changing the whole family feel of St. Martin’s Walk.

Considering the amount of pubs that have closed down in town, there is definitely a better place for a spoons that will not push out smaller, much loved businesses

Dorking does not need or want a Wetherspoons. I don’t want smaller independent shops and cafes to be shut for the place to be turned into an oversized cheap boozer.

The proposed pub would be full of football supporters in various states of investigation. We don't need that.
