This is completly out of order, this should not happen right near a school of people's homes where anything could happen. I echo all the other comments, renewal able or greener energy is something we all need to consider but quality of life and the local environment must be considered as well. A a local resident I am not happy about such a plant being so close to housing and my children's school. Increased HGV traffic is something that this area simply can't cope with either.

Opposed to this being built on the proposed site. I agree we need these plants & totally accept that they must be built.however the siting is totally inappropriate. Next to a school near a housing estate & very near to hft where vulnerable adults live. Also we need to get the Didcot / Milton road sorted out as well as the A34. These roads are heaving with traffic anyway without having extra loads of traffic added to them

This is not my idea of a great situation. Far to close to families, schools etc. surly there is a place more suitable?? Please please please rethink this. I think it would be detrimental for Didcot. Didcot is growing into a wonderful town, I fear this will make is undesirable for any further development for this town. People will move away leaving it a ghost town.

This is not the right site for this, it is too close to houses, school and preschool and would have a huge impact on the people in the immediate area.

Please do not site this plant downwind of a community! If it has to be this close at least place it away from the direction of the prevailing weather.

This makes no sense at all for the good of the community! Surely there must be an alternative site away from schools, homes and businesses!!
I work in Milton heights supporting people with learning disabilities this worries me for them!!!!
