The council finally rejected the application and blocked this reckless plant from being built next to our homes and school. These greedy developers clearly underestimated our resolve to protect our neighborhood from their poisonous plan. Stay alert because we proved today that when we organize they cannot ignore us.

The corporate suits pushing this Milton plant think we will just roll over and accept their toxic plan. We are nearing a hundred signatures and I need everyone to hammer their personal networks right now to hit that mark before we confront these people.

I am a small business owner and chose the Core as it offers a unique and beautiful setting in which I can conduct my business. I am opposed to this proposal as it will have a negative impact on my work environment and also impact the health and safety of local residents.
The proposed site is too close to young school-children and vulnerable adults as well as residents of houses. Its proposed position on the top of a hill also raises concern about any accidental run-off which would engulf the community to the east and possibly end up on the A34.
My family live at Milton Heights and my children attend the school there. Big concerns about the environmental impact this will have on the local residents and businesses AND concerns about increased traffic on usually quiet roads
The number of delivery lorries proposed is horrendous - and this in an area where there is already congestion, to be made even worse by other developments in the area. This monstrosity should be sites on a brown field site beside railway tracks - e.g. on part of the Power Station land.
Inappropriate location, noise, light, flies, vermin and odour pollution. Goes against VWHDC own policy for Greenfield sites. Contravenes Environment Agency rules for facilities of this nature. A good idea, but not this big and this close to a residential area

Our son, David Greenslade has been resident at the hft establishment upwind of the proposed plant. He and his fellow residents are very happy, well cared for. It would be a tragedy if this proposal goes ahead and results in a degredation of their envirenment.
