The rezoning efforts in this county as driven by these land developers is getting ridiculous. they are ruining the appeal of the area, and reducing the quality of life for the existing residents. This area cannot support high density housing, ESPECIALLY senior citizens who cannot drive, and will add to the high volume of traffic this area receives.

I oppose the rezoning of property located at the corner of Bob cox rd. & Burnt Hickory Rd. This is a very difficult and dangerous intersection and increasing the density would further strain an already taxed area.

We live on Madison Grove Lane just off of Gordon Combs Road. Sometimes making a left onto Burnt Hickory feels like a death sentence. Be quick or be dead. Adding these plans to the corner of Burnt Hickory & Bob Cox will only complicate traffic issues.

We do not need every parcel of land filled with buildings. Leave green spaces. The roads are already jammed with cars.

The traffic On Burnt Hickory is already painful from overbuilding in our area. I drive on this road every day. Please do not change the zoning.

Traffic is a problem at this intersection already. Needs a round-about type intersection to slow down traffic on Burnt Hickory and allow safe movement from Bob Cox to Gordon Combs Rd and vice versa. 3 schools close by so there are already many buses and carpools.

We live on Old Hickory Drive. 5+ years ago, we had speed humps installed due to our street being used as a cut through to gain more travel time in order to get further down to Burnt Hickory at the creek. Drivers come down Bob Cox from Dallas Hwy. as well as turning right from Burnt Hickory onto Bob Cox, then left Old Hickory Dr so we get this invasion from both directions. We on Old Hickory Dr, feel so invaded, not even feeling safe to walk our dog in early mornings. Can you just imagine what 46 more homes will add to the congestion on Burnt Hickory. I say NO, NO. NO more addition to the already high volume of traffic. Thank you!

This request for rezoning does not provide any benefit to the county or the surrounding community. It is frustrating to see these request across the county just to drive increased density, which in some parts of the county have resulted in a negative impact on surrounding residential home values. When is the county government going to work for the constituents for a change.

I would not normally be against senior housing except for the fact that I can't get out of my Burnt Hickory Road driveway, even during off hours. Our roads cannot support this.

They are building a new subdivision 1 house
down from me on bob cox rd, now they want to build a 55+ at the end of bob cox rd.their is no more room on my street...The traffic and noise from the car's and motorcycles is all ready too loud.Box cox rd is a cut threw from burnt hickory to Dallas hwy both ways from people who don't even live in this area but has jobs over here...STOP THE MADNESS. we have no more room....
