I say NO to this rezoning effort. The intersections at Bob Cox & Burnt Hickory and Gordon Combs & Burnt Hickory and soon to add another between the two only complicates the busy traffic patterns.

For all the increased traffic, safety, and loss of tax revenue reasons so eloquently put forward in previous comments, I vote NO on rezoning this parcel of land. Please consider the quality of life of taxpayers already living in this area!

Traffic already bad enough with out this county has ignored this end of Bob Cox for too long drivers do upward to 60 miles an hour now on this end

That intersection cannot handle that type of zoning. Stop already, lets think of what's best for the community of neighbors already living there.

We don't need anymore homes on Burnt Hickory Period. The traffic is bad enough in the mor nine and afternoon. Backing up to Old Mountain Rd by the Park.
55 and older still adds way to much traffic.
We don't need any more houses Period.

Until the commissioners have commuted through Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park at peak hours, they need to consider the impact of hundreds of additional cars driving in this area. And there is no meaningful employment that would afford residents a house in this area, unless it goes toward Marietta or Atlanta.

The construction will make traffic worse than it already is and will negatively affect property values. While we're at it, how about a traffic light at that intersection instead?

Please do not zone for this many homes in an area where existing homes sits on a 1/2 acre or most often more of land. Getting on and off Burnt Hickory from Bob Cox and Gordon Combs is already a nightmare and requires nerves of steel. This would not be a safe intersection for the older population and you would personally be assuming responsibility for the many accidents with injury that will occur
to those who live in this area.

I live in Burnt Hickory Pointe .We do not need another egress pointe so close.Also the housing is not the same quality compared to the existing neighborhoods around this area.

I live on Gordon Combs Rd near Burnt Hickory Road. If this is approved there will be a disaster with traffic having two roads and the entrance of this proposal all within 500ft of each other. The safety of many lives are at stake!!! If you approve this at least redesign the entance to parallel with Gordon Combs Rd so that a light can be put there!!

We have three brand new senior living housing developments in the area already.;One on Burnt Hickory on Whitlock, one on Barrett Parkway, and the other on Dallas Hwy. All three are within a few miles of this location. None are full. These are not needed.
