Stop over developing West Cobb. You are ruining our way of life with traffic and overcrowded schools. We don't need any more homes or retirement communities. Stop. We live here.

How about a round about adjoining Bob Cox and Gordon Combs instead of this nightmare proposal? I can't imagine the traffic, accidents, injuries and chaos this will cause.

I live just accross Bob Cox Rd and I'm totally against the project. Way too many houses in a small area. Zoning should remain the same. Another problem is all of the extra drainage water will dump on my property.

This will only make the issue of turning left on Burnt Hickory from Box Cox Rd more of a nightmare. This is already a dangerous intersection and the addition of this development will only make things worse.

Burnt Hickory is a 2 lane road and cannot support any additional traffic. I would like the planning commission to get on Burnt Hickory at 7:00 AM on a weekday when school is in session and se how long it takes each of them to just get to Barrett Parkway. Traffic is awful on all the secondary roads in Cobb County during the morning and evening rush hours. This type of development only adds to the problem.

Infrastructure is already bad. We moved to West Cobb because of less dense neighborhoods in the community. Summerhour neighborhood is bad enough, senior living at Stilesboro and Paul Samuel and another on Dallas Hwy. Why need another one? Letting another re-zoning proposal pass will only cause a cascading effect and encourage builders to attempt more re-zoning. Not a fan. Preserve our community.

Am definitely not in favor of such a dense # of homes. Burnt Hickory, Bob Cox - entire area is already congested and no requirement for additional zoning of this nature

Just because there is land available does not mean it needs to be developed. I don't see seniors (55+) not being able to find homes in the community. The traffic down Burnt Hickory, Dallas Hwy and Stillesboro is already atrocious. The majority of the 55+ community is still working and contributing to that traffic for at least 10 years. I know many in their 70's still working for various reasons. RSL will not prevent an increase in traffic load here. Enough is enough. The Poston's are a lovely family and have done a lot of good in the community, but this development will not be one of them.

I would like to say that I disapprove of the zoning of the land located at the corner of Bob Cox Road and Burnt Hickory Road for the purpose of residential units. This area is a nightmare of traffic during morning and evening rush hours. I don't believe the addition of more residents will help that, but increase it terribly! I live at 137 Lake Somerset Crest and my property has already tripled from the last increase and now you are speaking of another. This is too much. It's not a bad thing to have green space.
