A bridge in such a compact rura setting in a conservation area would cause unbelievable congestion , noise & pollution.

This is not necessary & will cause traffic congestion & pollution in a lovely area used by so many including those with young children.

Alternatives must ble explored rather than taking the easy option. The impact on V11 traffic will be very dangerous

I am opposed to these proposals, willen is the jewel mk crown and I believe this will adversely affect those who live and love this special place.

The traffic around Willen with both VW & Mercedes staff is already immense, as is the number of accidents as a result, I feel this would only worsen. Also I don’t feel there is enough infrastructure, schools, doctors etc to cope with the extra people. School catchment area’s around Willen are already an issue with all of the new houses being built around it. Unfortunately I agree it is a bridge too far!

I cannot imagine anything more dreadful right opposite our home where we have lived peacefully for 30 years. What is happpening to Willen, first we lost the Post Office, which I really miss, then the Doctors and then even worse the dreadful concrete works which 4,000 people objected to It is noticed none of the Councillors who voted for the concrete works and now this monstrosity of bridge appliction actually live in Willen Please every householder in Willen object and support those who represent us and spread the word amongst everyone they know or come into contact with.

This seems to be a bid by the Council to apply for Government money to fix a problem that doesn’t and may not ever exist, with no proper thought or planning or consideration of current traffic volumes.

A new bridge over the M1 near to Willen is not wanted and will increase noise and vehicle pollution.

Already the traffic is bad in this area, queues onto the M1 at night, seen x2 accidents by tongwell in the last two weeks due to volumes.

This bridge will cause more noise more pollution and with residents of Willen already having problems turning into and out of Carlton Gate because of the speeding traffic we already have what hope do they stand with even more.

Infrastructure first before more houses or a bridge (we know not exactly where). Can the sewage works cope with more houses? Already hard to get out of Millington Gate in rush hour.

Even before this proposed bridge it can take over 5 minutes just to pull out of Willen on to Danstead Way or Tongwell Street in the morning.

Milton Keynes can/should keep growing, but only when it has put the infrastructure in place to manage the growth

Carlton Gate onto Tongwell Street is dangerous and in rush hour times extremely busy with congestion going into the Tongwell businesses. The road systems here need to be greatly changed or updated before adding more problems.

The roads surrounding Willen are all single carriageway and can not cope with existing traffic flow. Congestion is a problem, flow is poor, junctions are inadequate.

We don’t want this bridge - nor the traffic. This is the reason we weren’t asked because they knew the response. The labour council is a bastion of antidemocracy - only ask the plebs when they do what you want! Well, this time,we don’t want it.

I am strongly against any plans for creating a road/ bridge access on this side of Willen. We already have a noise problem with the V11, M1 and H4 road noise surrounding the area.  We also hear the concrete plant machinery during the day in Pineham. Willen is supposed to be a humble quiet area especially with the lake, it's rich wildlife nature reserve, the hospice and it's lush greenery and walk paths.  I believe that any further plans that will increase the noise in the area will have the following effects: 1) Increase the risk of our wildlife nature moving elsewhere , or becoming extinct 2) Create more noise pollution due to traffic, and construction. 3) Create more air pollution due to traffic, construction. 4) Create more traffic on the roads 5) Affect the value of our property in the area We already have the M1 Smart Motorway project affecting us and the traffic /accident problems that take place on a daily basis.  The roads surrounding Willen are main gateways into and out of MK, connecting Bedford and Northmampton cross country.  The last thing we want is more traffic and more pollution. The Anglian Sewage works also create a strong pong every now and again.  I would really like to see the air quality in this area on a bad day to reflect the true results. Its disgusting that the council want to even think about providing bridge access from this side of willen where there are already known problems that have been introduced.

A very poorly thought out plan that will cause huge disruption to Willen and the surrounding roads.

Please don’t do this our quality of life is already eroded by the smell from pineham and the plans for a concrete factory
