I believe this bridge is a very bad for willen, for the inhabitants who already suffer with the v11 and the M1 congestion, and for the hospice. Surely there is another solution.

Bridge is not needed. V11 has bridges at either end M1 and Willen Road. Can't these be used.

Are there any champions to protect Willen which is under constant threat? Why so many conflicts? The bmx site, concrete processing plant, decimated trees and shrubs, inadequate lighting at Willen Pavilion where lamps have been out for 6 months despite repeated reports. Rat-run traffic at an estimated 180 cars per hour if there is trouble on M1, insufficient dog waste bins around Lake, appalling parking at Willen Centre, withdrawal of bus service, inadequate lighting in Portland Drive... who cares? And now the latest threat of a bridge... Sad news for our little corner of the world.

Put the road next to or instead of the Gypsy site. No need for a bridge then.
