I am not against The Range coming to Chippenham but this is totally the wrong location. This will cause so much traffic through & near Cepen Park North with lorrys up & down the A350 all day & night. Also if this is allowed to go ahead how many more big companies will want to build there too?

No the proposed site will cause problems with traffic holdups & it will take longer to travel/cost more. Will cause noise.

I'm not against jobs for Chippenham but the location is wrong - too near to residents, too much traffic would be generated on roads a long way from the motorway.

NO, NO, NO, this proposal is entirely in the wrong location & will most definitely be to the detriment of the town centre stores. It will be empty promises from the developers & owner of The Range who will leave their ugly mark on our landscape before moving on to pastures new for further destruction. Major road works currently being undertaken to alleviate traffic congestion will be in vain if we allow this site as the additional traffic from delivery lorries, service vehicles & staff will have a huge impact.

I understand that the prefered location for Range was near the recycling center on the M4 but this site was cheaper. An entirely unwelcome and inappropriate proposal at the expense of the residents and the the economy of the town.

Altough the jobs may be welcome in Chippenham I think the site of the development could be better placed and it could be nearer the motorway junction where it would not disrupt local villages and residents

Location for such a large operation would be better suited closer to the M4. No provision has been made for the noise polution of over 70 docking bays operating 24/7

A bad development for the area, the roads just cannot take the volume of traffic.

Development would be far better off closer to the M4, to cause least disruption to Chippenham residents

The busy main will cause traffic to use Cepen Park North as a rat run and ruin the peace and safety of this residential area. People happily travel to shops now adays so J17 is perfect and buses transporting workers can still travel up there as well!

Junction 17 is a far better location for traffic access and will not clog up Cepen Park North with even more traffic.

The owner of ' The Range' and WCC should listen to the views of residents in this area.
