All in favour of jobs for Chippenham, but this is not in the right place or producing the right calibre of jobs.

The range needs to be closer to the m4.

The plan is too close to a residential area, The Range should look closer to the M4.

This is completely the wrong location for the Range. Should be nearer to the M4.

Wrong location, should be by M4. Not against it in principal. Will we really get 1000 jobs? Will it be of economic benefit to Chippenham when it could cause closure of local businesses. Flood plain, dreadful traffic problems will be generated. Too near residents.

I just feel it is the wrong location, there are plenty other areas that could be used rather than the one chosen.

It's not just the 20 football pitches - it's also 18m high. About a 6 storey building. Hwo inappropriate and out of place can this be? Put it next to the M4. 1000 lorries, every day, travelling the additional 6 miles from J17 and back... not exactly low carbon in my opinion.

Wrong site for a redistribution centre. Also allowing retail 'sheds' to be built on a bypass is daft. Others wi;; surely follow if this goes through and in 10 years time you will need another bypass.

There is sufficient land in other areas of Chippenham especially by the motorway junction. The road infrastructure will not be able to cope with the additional traffic and no suitable allowance has been made for the noise pollution of over 70 docking bays operating 24/7.

the roads in the area are already conjested, how will they and the community cope with this huge development ?

This proposal for the Range build is not appropriate. There is still land available at Methuen Park the proposed site is far to close to residential area.

This development is completely inappropriate for the site being proposed. It is green belt and also in very close proximity to a residential area. There must be setter site for Range to build on

I oppose this proposed development which is not within keeping with the area. It will destroy a beautiful green field site whilst other brown field sites which are more appropriate languish on the market. Employees from other sites will transfer to the new site so new job creation will be minimal.

I would like to object to The Range building the business park between Cepen Park North and Allington. I want well paid, not low paid jobs which inevitably will be offered by The Range. A building the size of 20+ pitches with 74 bays for hundreds of lorries and cars will be polluting the atmosphere and threaten the health and safety of the densely populated residential area of Cepen Park North.

The 1,000 jobs includes the people who will be involved in its construction. However, the development on prime farming land will operate 24/7 via 3 shifts and 150 lorries per day (yes, one hundred and fifty per day). The bypass was meant to define the northern limit of Chippenham's growth as a town. The Range RDC will be an absolute eyesore on our attractive landscape.

Seemingly to be built in a "Source Protection Zone". Jargon to me but it doesn't seem legal.
