This is not a project appropriate for a residential area. It will do significant harm to the wet lands, urban wildlife and choke the roadways for residents in the area who pay higher property taxes compared to their neighboring counties.

Seriously request that you vote NO to prospect of a casino in our back yard, Forest Hill/Oxford proposal. City wants it, Oxford/ Forest Hills does not. Locate the casino Nextdoor to city hall.

The residents of southside did not ask for or want a large Casino/Resort in our neighborhood. We are very concerned about the environmental, social and traffic impacts of this proposal.

This proposed site is an ecological nightmare. The casino and Richmond will have an uphill battle against both the EPA and the Chesapeake Bay protection groups. The roads and highways have no room to grow to support the major increase in traffic that would come along with it. The residents of Stratford Hill have a long, winning history of fighting developments that would harm the environment and we are ready to fight this one too.

Forest Hill and Chippenham is no place for a casino. It’s a residential area and also wetlands. This shouldn’t even be in the runnin.

This area cannot support a project of this scale.
- Powhite Parkway around the toll plaza floods with a few inches of rain, NOW.
-The traffic on Powhite S between the toll plaza and Chippenham is already a hot mess.
- Forest Hill Ave cannot sustain this influx of cars.

The Forest Hill area is adjacent to one of the few natural areas of Richmond left virtually untouched by urban interference. The area is the home for not only it's residents, but the regulars that enjoy the beautiful James River parks, paths, and wetland sanctuaries. Known as one of the last undeveloped areas that is still publicly accessible for all who have come to love it, our world would never be the same if a casino were to be built in this area. There are so many better places than this area that would be more convenient to those seeking to entertain themselves by gambling. This is simply the completely wrong fit.

This is the WRONG location for a casino. It is surrounded by residential communities that DO NOT WANT it. There are numerous environmental reasons, traffic reasons, run-off reasons, flooding risks, disruptions to the wildlife in this area. Nothing against Bally's but this is the WRONG LOCATION.
