The athletic department confirmed today that the traditional Seminole head will remain the official logo. We have reached our objective and the planned redesign process has been terminated. I will monitor the upcoming brand guidelines to ensure no further unauthorized changes occur.

I am currently organizing the feedback from this petition to present to the university administration. We are preparing a formal letter that outlines why the traditional logo must remain in use.

The new logo looks juvenile, cartoonish, and just plain awful. I won't buy anything with the new logo. Go back to the one everyone loves. I hate that FSU is trying to be like Oregon or Maryland who constantly change logos and uniforms.
As an alumni I am disappointed! Tradition is not about what is "easier" to reproduce!
This isn't starting a new legacy its tarnishing brand and iconic symbol what is known and respected across the country. As a Booster and Alumni I'm beyond disappointed in this logo representing FSU athletics and FSU as a whole.
Grew up in Tallahassee. Graduated from FSU. Changing the Seminole head is BLASPHEMY.
The current logo is clasy and fierce. The one apparently under consideration will make us the butt of many jokes and is itself laughable. Thank you.
Tradition should never be sold out! As they have clearly done here.

This would be an embarrassment and complete deviation from our heritage as FSU Seminole fans.
