I strongly object to this development and particularly to the plan to build outside the Settlement Boundary. There is no good reason to allow any developer to be given permission to build outside of the designated areas

My family live in the local area and the road and services do not support a signfiicant residential development where proposed especially with being the traffic route to JCB

There is simply NOT a requirement for such an expansion of this small market town. Us local residents certainly do not want it and the extra strain on local services is unwelcome

Let's get the JCB and Brownfield sites done first. Come on ESBC what are you doing with your old depot in Hockley Road. What an eyesore We just do not want the Hazelwalls development. A Greenfield site, Flooding issues:Traffic issues: wrong mix of houses The list is endless.

The proposed development hasn’t followed the due process expected of the local planning department where building outside the settlement boundary into greenfield space had not been allowed to be discussed in depth. Listening to the previous planning meeting minutes a lot of detail was whitewashed over

Schools and Doctors first, houses on brownfield sites next!

This is an unbelievable insult to the people of this once lovely rural town - and in any case, it’s high time the eyesore of derelict land left behind by the demolition of Bamford's works (& subsequently JCB) was put to good use instead.

There are already too many housing developments, this is taking away green belt land.

There are already too many plans approved in Uttoxeter. This proposal would put even more pressure on roads etc.

Why are the brown fields not being built on? Extra traffic will have a safety impact on the local roads. Is there the need for all these houses?

I wish to object on the grounds of over stretched services, increase in traffic and pollution.

I am opposed to this development. 1) The cumulative impact of the proposed housing developments, on the public service infrastructure. Currently there is a distinct lack of details as to the ramifications for Health, Education, welfare, transport needs etc. 2) There seems to be a lack of concrete evidence that there is an actual public demand for all of the housing built built/planned for Uttoxeter. 3) Brownfield site should be completed before greenfield developments.

We do not need homes on Greenfield sites until ALL brownfield sites are developed.

This is a beautiful place and will be ruined by so much development. It is also a flood risk area and will cause traffic chaos. Too much development has already taken place within the town.

There is no way that a development of this magnitude is required in a country market town on Greenfield farmland thus destroying the character of the town and further despoiling the green edge of the approach to the town. The application fails based upon need and also on aspects such as flooding road safety and traffic congestion. It also fails to acknowledge a line of ancient Oaks along the boundary that have tree preservation orders.

Living on Stafford road we cannot imagine the impact of 400 cars or more passing through as already it is overcrowded and the noise is unbearable

Hello! You may or may not be aware that the developers have submitted their plans to ESBC, who are currently considering the application (Ref P/2015/01497). The newly formed Hazelwalls Impact Group (HIG) are in he process of writing an objection letter to be backed up with as many signatures as we can gather. If you would like to add your name to this you can do through the following link: http://www.ipetitions.com/petition/say-no-to-the-hazelwalls-development-uttoxeter Thanks!

It is tragic enough that Uttoxeter has lost Roycroft Farm and Bramshall Road. Please stop any more irresponsible destruction of our precious environment. Many of these houses being built will be commuter homes, not for present residents.
