Governor Cuomo of New York says he's not opening up NY just yet, over safety concerns, shouldn't we be concern over the safety of our own people?

It only takes one case going undetected until it’s too late and all the gains that the government fought so hard for can be lost.
And so far I have no idea in hard-core financial statistics (i’ve been given none, so far as I know) what the projected gains are expected to be.
i am also flabbergasted that we are not opening up to our own Caribbean family, which has a good profile in this COVID-19 situation, and are opening up to the USA which has the worst COVID profile in the world at this time.

This is bigger than party politics. This is not about party politics. This is saying this government has served us well.in the pandemic so far, and we beg you to continue the good work. We do not want our hotel workers coming into contact with infection and taking it into our communities. Please, please do not open Saint Lucia for a few more months. Please, please, let's be guided by the science.

I totally disagree with this move. It looks like they wanna kill St. Lucian like the Americans. So disappointed in this decision... If this cabinet does that we Lucians should vote them out, because it looks like they don't really care about us but they care more about the money.
