SAY NO TO THE GOVERNMENT OF ST.LUCIA OPENING THE BORDERS FOR INTERNATIONAL TOURIST AMID THIS COVID-19

I don’t think it’s a good idea knowing that there’s still a high rate of infected persons dealing with covid 19 .

We were told that once the visitors have a clearance certificate,they will be free to travel to St Lucia and will not be corintin.Firstly the symptoms of the virus,are realize in 14 days,what if someone went and have a test done and the test proves negative,but the person do have the virus but the symptoms are not yet prevalent and this person cone to St.Lucia and whiles on island the symptoms present itself,what if the person contacted the virus at the airport of embarking, what if the person or persons were to get the virus on the taxi they travelling on to the airport,what if the person or persons were to get the virus in the supermarket etc,and that would be after this person or person did a test which had proved negative.Reopening of the boarder is a great risk to the citizens of St.Lucia.This is a sign of desperation,election is close and covit 19 caught the goverment flat on its backside with its pants down.That the risk government or governments takes when they govern poorly and badly.The desperation to open the boarder is to try and boost the economy just before a soon to be general election,the Prime minister and Trump are two of the same,I am not being political i am being objective, I voted this government and is very disappointed in the governance of the government and I will have a change of heart come the next general elections.Dont put our lives at risk it's to soon to open the boarder.

Things are still bad out there. Why but the nation at risk? Where are the funds that were given to help the people. What was the purpose of NIC. Reconsider your decision. st Lucia is not ready for this.

It is obvious that this is a money move. Think of the PEOPLE. Putting our citizens at risk is not a smart idea !!
