I think our government are foolish to put our island at risk like this and allow USA tourist into our country. We are a small nation who have kept our population virtually virus free. What thought process led to inviting the worst hit country, who's numbers are STILL climbing, in first?

It should be opened only to citizens who wants to return and ofcourse they should be quarentined as well.

With the most cases of the virus and the highest death rate, the government is making a serious mistake allowing our borders to be opened to the USA! Pure madness!

I think boarders should be the last thing to be reopened. We can open everything else on island, and if there is no local spreading then we can venture further. Also if there is a water shortage, why should we be trying to get more people on island?

It blows my mind that the Government of St. Lucia could even consider opening up our country to the USA.The highest number of Covid19 cases in the world, highest death rate in the world, and the Government want to inflict this on our population! Can't understand the thought process behind this. I fear for our island's population, our hotel and customer service staff who will be on the front lines of this, and our hospital staff who will have their work cut out for them.
