I am pro-growth, a business owner/investor, resident of Westport 28 years. Hamlet does not meet basic parking, traffic, and planning thus should absolutely not proceed until the project has satisfied these criteria!

I live four minutes to the train station from
Compo Beach when there is no traffic. Now
it takes 15 minutes to travel half a mile
when there is traffic. It will only get worse
with this proposed development.

We’ve been residents for over 35 years and have witnessed the charming town of Westport growing out of control! I can’t imagine the traffic getting worse!

The current plan will cause serious congestion in a town that already has significant traffic control issues.

We should maximize our waterfronts for the population of Westport to draw a sense of community that would enrich our town provide areas for friendships

It is already a nightmare driving through that part of town and hard to find parking to visit a restaurant. One can sometimes be stuck in traffic for over half an hour. It is a terrible idea for our environment! The pollution of our air, as well as, has anyone in the Conservation department thought how such a monstrosity affect the quality of the water in the river and the river! Where is the Conservation Dep in all of this?! We are completely against this!

I commute on Metro North. It is already difficult enough to get into, out of and park in the Saugatuck area. The roads and parking are insufficient to support this development.
This plan will pollute the River even more
