This Hamlet project is way too much for Saugatuck and the historic Saugatuck Bridge can not handle any more car/large truck

There is already a bad traffic problem in this area which have not been addressed. To add more traffic to an already bad problem without any solution is an abdication of responsibilities.

The plan/idea to build hotels in saugatuck would forever change that part of Westport in negative ways. These outside investors don’t care about how awful the traffic would become in a small town that already has congestion issues. Westport may be a “development friendly” town but this plan should not be allowed to go thru. It would be a gold mine for these out of town investors but a nightmare for those of us living here.

Westport is not Stamford. Greedy developers. Too much desiity. If developers can't come up with a financially viable plan without over development then now is not the time.

Terrible Idea. Traffic, pollution, environmental concerns… where are all the Environmentalists these days and zoning department appointees? Isn’t there ENOUGH traffic… who are these people that want this… and WHY

The plans for this development concern me in terms of scale and infrastructure. No regard for traffic or increased congestion seem to have been considered. Its design is totally out of character and keeping with the rest of our New England town. Westport is not Dubai.

And what about their threat of a massive housing development?
