The traffic is terrible now, it will be horrific if this goes through.. The area needs a facelift, but this amount of development will ruin our town. We are not Stamford or Greenwich ()and don’t want to be!), we don’t have the infrastructure to support this

If it ain't broke, don't go making like Stamford...commerce is what it's all about and we have enough of that.

Westport is at a crossroads/ I hope the P&Z realize they are elected and “we the people” still have a voice. Please listen to what the majority of westporters want for their town and not the developers who see us as a “destination” for outsiders to come and enjoy. This is our community, our home. Help it stay that way because that is why we chose to live here .

POLO games?? I read the brochure from Roan Ventures. Everyone should read it. They offering polo games? Where will the horses be kept? Or is this another secret? The hunt club is also partnering with them?

One of the very most charming parts of westport becz its one of the only areas that remains unchanged. Please dont allow this development to be built, it would destroy the remaining sense of history & magic of Saugatuck

The original plan I saw was quaint and didn't change the character of the town. This design is too large and has zero match to the existing look and feel of the town.

The proposed plan will cause more problems than solutions. Too much traffic, adding too many units to an already congested area

This egregious plan must be stopped. It overwhelms Saugatuck and is very ugly. It is the result of an overdeveloped ego, not an organic, thoughtful plan. I loathe it.

Needs to be scaled back in size

Please deny this oversized and out of character development in Saugatuck. The Saugatuck River is a tidal gem and is a clean and unpolluted waterway relative to neighboring towns. I believe this development will negatively impact the river and surrounding natural areas. I question why the P and Z gave away so much to the Roan developers instead of being a line of defense for our town and its citizens who are asking for thoughtful and appropriate development. We should do a lot better than this.

There is far too much development in Westport and elsewhere in CT. The greed of developers is despicable - they care nothing for the quality of life of those who live in the affected areas.

Far from an isolated decision, this is definitely a mandate on the character of future development in Westport. Literally a crossroads. Think carefully about what you enjoy about Westport as you decide!

Too massive and all to make money

By amending the zoning, P&Z let a Trojan Horse into town. Someone should look into why Westport's officials got rolled.

This is too much development in too small area.

Agree it is way too big and will create traffic and congestion nightmares.
