The area is already congested with traffic, it would be a nightmare.

Probably not popular but I’d like to see a plan that integrates low income. Might just allow longtime Westporters to stay

This will be a step in the wrong direction for Westport if the Hamlet is allowed to be constructed.

Something more fitting the riverside would be better, this looks like a circus.

It needs to be the old plan. That area can not handle so many people. The infrastructure is not build for it.

This project is entirely too large for our community. The traffic, parking and site lines are or will cause massive problems and a chocking of the area as the plan is currently proposed. I am also concerned about the off-site low income housing plan. Where is this going to be built/adapted? How will the support staff reach and park in the area? Too many unresolved or not thought through aspects. Then, the current proposal may have plans in place but what happens when the developers are no longer running the various properties? How would this development function long term?

This proposal is too big, too, too tall and I feel it is not suitable for small town Westport, CT.

I've lived here for 25 years and feel that Westport is being negatively impacted by over development. The small area of Saugatuck is the wrong place for the dramatic increase in crowding and congestion that will result from this massive project. It is the wrong spot for development of this scale.

I came up here from Brooklyn in 1966 and have watched this lovely town change in many dramatic ways, mostly because of development. While I support 830-g, the town has ignored it as developers used it to their advantage. The Hamlet will not help the town as Ken and Larry have pointed out.

Living here for 25 years now and things are being over built, never finished, and traffic is a nightmare! Leave the "Hamlet" that we already have alone.

I have lived in Saugatuck for over 30 years and have seen increase in traffic which is becoming unsustainable. I appreciate the revitalization that has already occurred. However, the scale of this new plan is outrageous.
No way
No to the Hamlet plan
