Why now and why impact the tax payers that have supported the town all these years. When the owners of residences in the town are to be placed at a disadvantage that is contrary to the reason for moving to Westport to begin with, it is not about "development" when the outcome is " detrimental to those reasons.

The project, as depicted is too large in scale. Please don’t approve this dramatic change to our town.

RR parking spaces are already scarce. If the town and developers can’t add more permit spaces, the project should be scaled back or reconsidered completely. The needs of the citizens needs to come before the wishes of the developers.

This would be a travesty if built. It is WAY too big and corporate-looking. It does not reflect the charm and historical nature of the town and would overwhelm the riverfront visually.

This original plan is a scale that better reflects the character of this town. The current plan looks like a small city - buildings too tall and proposal creates a too densely populated area.

This rendering resembles the upper west side buildings developed by the Chinese, using Trumps logo. Ugh. Westport is bucolic; the nyc waterfront is not. This idea doesn’t fit in Westport

I feel this will siphon energy away from our vibrant, central downtown area. And it is way too big.

This project, if built, would greatly exacerbate the traffic nightmare around the Metro North RR station.

1. Get an architect with taste and a feel for the town. This development is massive and architecturally hideous.
2. Westport could use more affordable housing for young families and retirees. It does not need a baroque monstrosity shoe-horned into a small space.
3. What a waste of an opportunity! How about a creative and welcoming mixed-use re-development. What we need is vision, something this development team sorely lacks.

We need to try to preserve what is left of the town's character, particularly in Saugatuck.

Area too crowded as it is. But the craziness of having it approved is scary.
Westport hasn't been a small town for a long time. I know as I have lived her for all my life and so did my parents.

I was born and raised in the little New England town called Westport. The 2022 rendition recalls the Saugatuck of the past. Keeping with a New England town. The 2025 proposed is completely outrageous. It looks like an industrial city! Awful! Keep Westport beautiful!
