Say NO to the current Saugatuck "Hamlet" plan

Project needs to be smaller. Good idea but scale is too big

Saugatuck needs a "facelift" but this development doesn't come even close to what it should be!

This project just doesn’t fit with Westport.

The Hamlet does not seem to be a good fit for Westport- too big in size, too many variables in the plans; it will cause even more traffic congestion in an area already horribly congested at peak commute times and will destroy Westport's charm and "feel" as a New England town. The developers seem to be in an awful hurry to push this through with questionable information such as the traffic study. Wasn't that done during Covid when no one was out shopping, driving and dining?? It would be a huge mistake for Westport!

Let's get this right!

Current plan is too large and not for Westport use.

I want to raise my own kids in Westport. This project is not for the benefit of Westporters. It’s for tourists. P&Z. Listen to the residents of Westport.

Thus development is over sized, impractical forvtge site ot will cause massive traffic issues both du8conztruction and after. It is certainly not for westport.

Please deny the current application. At least a 40% reduction in scope and scale is needed. Thank you.

No plans to ease the current traffic congestion...which is already a problem now. Traffic coming off 95 will back up significantly. Getting thru that traffic light on Saugatuck Ave will take forever...Vote no...

Needs to be scaled back. Distracts from the charm of Westport. Disruptive to our lifestyle.

P&Z should force the developers to adhere to the 2022 plan

Totally over blown and what a joke. On a good day with regular traffic now it can take 10 to 15 min to get over the bridge to get to the train. Westport , you are feeling our town out!
