I am strongly opposed to the CSO. It violates our Milton 1 acre per house rule, and will negatively affect our already difficult traffic, and it will take away our Milton rural feel.

I sat on one of the original committees during the initial phase of becoming The City of Milton (as opposed to "north fulton county") and was so proud to create The Most Unique of all the cities in the greater Atlanta area!!! When I mention the horse farms and all of the beauty that IS the current City of Milton to others from Johns Creek, Duluth, Dunwoody, Sandy Springs, etc. they are amazed that this exists in the same metropolitan area they live in!!! How can ANYONE ALLOW THIS TO HAPPEN!!! You have lost who you were and now have become the status quo....former leaders with out character!!!! What a shame!!!

I strongly oppose the CSO. It has the potential for significant downside and no upside. It goes against the very principles upon which we established the city of Milton.

This town has and is run by developers from the mayor through the town council. The CSO is a slick, overly complicated, piece of legalese . In the end it does nothing to control overdevelopment and has so many developer friendly loopholes. The only true provable way to solve the issue of the developers wanting to bulldoze our town is through prudent adoption of minimum 2 acre zoning laws. 2 acre zoning is successfully implemented all over the country and does preserve the rurality of towns like ours. It is legal, enforceable and does work. Your city officials just have to WANT to make it work; a tough sell when developers run the city .

This does change Milton forever and not in a good way. Who are the developers behind this? If this goes through we will probably move out of Milton

This CSO is low on the Conservation and high on the Subdivision (Density). I don't see how so many in Milton can support these thinly veiled measures unless they are personally/professionally benefitting from the outcome. Milton Residents, please stand up and say "NO!"

I am opposed to the proposed CSO. Milton should continue to honor the original statute requiring one acre lots. Milton already has areas of high density housing and should limit it to those already in existence.

I emailed all of the city council members but only heard back from 2. both plan to vote for the CSO and did not address that the Planning commission has recommended against it each time.

I do not know who set up this website, but apparently the website is using an incorrect zip code directory to determine the signer's resident city. I am listed as Tolleson, GA. Several are listed as Alpharetta. One is Coral Gables, FL. Since the signup is for Milton residents only the incorrect cities could be a cause for disqualification.

This is a terrible idea for milton, will invite high density and create nothing but problems. There are far too many unintended consequences of high density development on 1/4 acre lots. Leave the current 1 acre zoning as is and stop the foolish attempt at creating high density in Milton!
