Clarke County is a Agricultural/farm county not Industrial. You are taking away our fresh well water by putting in hundreds of wells to run this facility and ruining the beautiful landscape. I'm saying NO to this development of a hydroponic lettuce factory.

Please do all that is necessary to prevent this operation from being built. It will lower the water table and cause light pollution at night in a pastoral agriculture area.

Len Capelli, Clarke County Economic Development Director, is in bed with VFT and the other lettuce factory shell companies and could care less about county residents' views and concerns. Clarke County elected and salaried officials have known for many months about the planned factory but continually hide behind their rhetoric that no official application has been filed yet. But they remain ready to approve this disaster, worse yet, throw county money at it. Unbelievable, looking forward to the results of ongoing efforts to expose these frauds and upcoming elections.

I'm ok with growing the lettuce but there light pollution is why I'm signing this as a NO. I can see Winchester and Charlestown's light from my house and we must restrict light pollution to keep the rural atmosphere of our special county. People always leave the city and remark once they're out in Clarke county how beautiful the stars are. That must be protected!

I moved to Berryville to have a somewhat rural lifestyle and be able to see the stars at night. Please don’t ruin this beautiful town.

I do not agree with taking from Clarke County farms for this project. I haul grain from farms to mills and the property owners should have rights to water and fields first! They should not have to pay for this.
